Privacy Policy

Wirebasket is a family scheduling assistant, currently in alpha. It helps families stay organized by connecting to their calendars and using AI to provide scheduling assistance.

We collect the following types of data:

• Google Calendar data — event titles, times, attendees, and locations
• Account information — your email address and name, provided via Google OAuth
• Conversation history — your messages and interactions with the AI assistant

Your data is used to power the features you signed up for:

• Scheduling assistance and calendar coordination
• Daily schedule digests
• Conflict detection across family members' calendars
• Memory extraction from conversations (so the assistant remembers your preferences and context)
• Family coordination features

Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure using an RDS/Postgres database. All data is encrypted at rest and hosted in a US region.

We use the following third-party services to operate Wirebasket:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — Your calendar data and conversation history are sent to Anthropic's API to power the AI scheduling assistant. This includes event titles, times, attendees, locations, and your messages.
• Google Calendar API — Used to read your calendar events and create new events on your behalf.

We want to be explicit about what we will never do with your data:

• We do not sell your data
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not share your data with data brokers
• We do not use your data for retargeting
• We do not profile you for third parties

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Calendar data is cached and refreshed periodically. Conversation history is retained to improve the assistant's memory and context.

You can request deletion of your data at any time.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email dan@wirebasket.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We use a single session cookie for authentication. That's it. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.

Wirebasket is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Wirebasket is based in the United States and our alpha is currently US-only. However, we respect your data rights: you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of your personal data at any time by contacting dan@wirebasket.ai.

Wirebasket's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
